Masjid Al Rayyan Summer Camp is a 6-week program for boys and girls 7 to 12 years of age.
Students can register for 1 or more weeks.

Cost: $50/week/child

Location: Masjid Al Rayyan 2-21406-100 Ave, Edmonton, AB T5T 5X8

Details:
The program will run 4 days a weeks (Mon to Thu) from 9:00am to 3:00pm for the following weeks:

- Week 1: Jul 6-9
- Week 2: Jul 13-16
- Week 3: Jul 20-23
- Week 4: Jul 27-30
- Week 5: Aug 3-6
- Week 6: Aug 10-13

Topics will include:
- Islamic Education
- Quran
- Daily Fun, Art
- Indoor and Outdoor Activities
- Field Trips (additional cost)

Photo, Video, and Media Consent

During the Summer Camp program, photographs and video recordings may be taken of participants during camp activities and events. In accordance with Alberta privacy legislation, including the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (FOIP), consent is required where identifiable images or recordings of participants may be used outside of the Masjid or displayed publicly.

Such use may include, but is not limited to:

Masjid newsletters and brochures
Websites and social media platforms
Promotional and educational materials
Electronic presentations and displays
Community events and publications

By signing this form, I hereby grant permission to the Masjid administration to photograph and/or record my child during camp activities and to use such photographs or recordings for the purposes listed above, without compensation or further notice, unless I provide written notice withdrawing consent.

Participation, Activities, and Field Trip Consent & Waiver

I hereby give permission for my child to participate in all authorized Summer Camp activities, including supervised games, recreational activities, educational programs, and approved field trips organized by the Masjid.

I understand that participation in camp activities and field trips may involve certain inherent risks, including but not limited to minor injuries, accidents, illness, transportation-related risks, or other unforeseen incidents.

By signing this form, I acknowledge and agree that:

My child is physically and medically able to participate in camp activities unless otherwise disclosed in writing to the Masjid.
I accept the risks associated with participation in these activities and field trips.
I release and hold harmless the Masjid, its board members, employees, volunteers, agents, and representatives from any claims, liabilities, damages, costs, or expenses arising from or related to my child’s participation, except where caused by gross negligence or willful misconduct.
In the event of a medical emergency, I authorize the Masjid staff or volunteers to obtain appropriate medical treatment for my child if I cannot be reached immediately.
